PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to direct the learned III Additional District Judge for PCR Act Cases, Madurai District to consider the bail application to be filed by the petitioners on the same day of its filing on their surrendering in connection with the case in Cr.No.131 of 2026 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kallikudi Police Station, Madurai District.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the accused persons in crime No. 131 of 2026, on the file of the second respondent police seeking a direction as against the trial Court to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of surrender.

2. Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction to the learned III Additional District Judge for PCR Act Cases, Madurai District to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of surrender in crime No.131 of 2026, after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant.

3. The petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Court on or before 16.06.2026.

4. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
