This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to declare the result of the post of Village Assistant held on 29.07.2015 based on representation of the petitioner dated 12.08.2016. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 3.The case of the petitioner is that during the year 2015, a circular was issued by the respondents calling upon the applications for the post of Village Assistant in Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District. The petitioner has applied for the post and also received a call letter on 22.07.2015, asking to appear for the interview on 29.07.2015. The petitioner attended interview with required documents and answered all the questions. Till date https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

there is not response as to whether the petitioner got selected or not.

4.The petitioner sent a letter dated 08.07.2016 through RTI Act, for which, the second respondent has sent a reply stating that process is pending and thereafter, on 12.08.2016, the petitioner has submitted a detailed representation to the respondents. Even for that also, there is no response. Under such circumstances, this Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to publish the results of the recruitment process that has been taken out for the post of Village Assistant .

5.It is agreeable for the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.08.2016 and to pass orders.

6.Accordingly, the second respondent shall consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.08.2016 and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
