The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to the impugned proceedings of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.5472/Vir.1/2018 dated 03.08.2021 and the consequential impugned proceedings of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.5472/Virpanai1./2019 dated 26.08.2021 and quash the same as illegal.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Civil Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that license was granted to the writ petitioner for a period of two years from 29.07.2020 to 28.07.2022 and in the meanwhile, the same came to be cancelled vide order dated 03.08.2021. He would further submit that the period of two years had already been expired and as such, nothing survives for further adjudication.
