ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to issue identity cards to the street vendors attached to the petitioner's Sangam under the Tiruchirapalli Corporation limits as per the rules framed by the Government of India and also as per the Act, on the basis of the representation submitted by the petitioner on 30.01.2017 and for a consequential direction to the respondents to permit the members of the petitioner Sangam to cast their votes in upcoming election on 22.05.2017 to select Street Vending Committee Board Members of the 2nd respondent corporation.
2.Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.01.2017 seeking the abovesaid prayer and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
