Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.

2. The petitioners seek for a Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the road laid down in the property at Survey No.140/4A at Vallavalan Village, Srivaikundam Taluk, Thoothukudi District by claiming that the said property is their patta land. By making such claim, the petitioners have already made a representation to the first respondent on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

28.12.2015.

Therefore, it is for the first respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the fifth respondent Panchayat as well. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to pass such order within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
