O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondent to accept petitioner nomination in connection with the ensuing elections to the post of Union Councilor in respect of Ward No.2, Kodanginaickenpatti, Nilakottai Panchayat Union, Dindigul District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that a direction is sought to the respondent to accept the nomination for the ensuing election to the post of Union Councilor in respect of Ward No.2, Kodanginaickenpatti, Nilakottai Panchayat Union. Since the term of Union Councilor is already over, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition.

4. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infrucuous. No costs.
