Side) O RDER This petition is filed seeking direction to direct the 2nd respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.172 of 2022 dated 06.07.2022 registered by the 1st respondent and to lay the final report within a stipulated time. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the defacto complainant and the case in Crime No.172 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections120B, 294(b), 406, 420 and 506(ii) of IPC, on 06.07.2022 as against the accused persons.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents 1 and 3 would submit that investigation in this case is completed and the final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Valliyoor, on 08.07.2023, but the same was not taken on file so far.

4.Since the final report has been filed before the concerned Court the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. There shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Valliyoor, to process the final report and take the same on file as per the Rules.

5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
