Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to remove the wrong name entered into the computerized patta No.508, Thirumayam Revenue Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District and consequently, direct the 2nd respondent to enter the petitioner's and his sisters' name in the said computerized patta No.508, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 04.06.2015 made to the respondents within a stipulated time.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. According to the petitioner, patta in respect of the subject property stands in the name of his father. While getting the computer patta, the name of somebody else has been wrongly included and it is only a mistake and hence, he has filed an application before the third respondent, to correct the said mistake and the same was received by the third respondent on 04.06.2015. But, so far no order has been passed. Hence, he has filed this Writ Petition.

4. In the above circumstances, the third respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 04.06.2015, and pass suitable orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
