Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order Endt.Rc.No.154154/Rect.II (I)/2014, dated 31.08.2016 passed by the 2nd respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to fix the seniority of the petitioner in the appropriate place in the list of candidates selected for appointment as Sub Inspector of Police for the year 1997 - 1998 and disburse all service and monetary benefits. The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ petition to quash the impugned order Endt.Rc.No.154154/Rect.II(I)/2014, dated 31.08.2016 passed by the 2nd respondent and consequently direct the respondents to fix the seniority of the petitioner in the appropriate place in the list of candidates selected for appointment as Sub Inspector of Police for the year 1997 - 1998 and disburse all https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
service and monetary benefits.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he has filed a Review Petition on 06.08.2018 and thus he restricts the prayer to the extent that the Review Petition may be considered and orders passed thereon in accordance with law.
4.Since the petitioner has restricted the relief to the extent of disposal of the Review Petition, the respondents are directed to dispose of the Review Petition within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P.is closed.
