on 04.06.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 3 Non Act, 366, 450 of IPC r/w 3(a), 4(1)(2) of POCSO Act, 2012, in crime No.15 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is the father of the victim girl. The petitioner kidnapped her minor daughter and tried to misbehave with her. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 04.06.2024, hence he may be released on bail.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation is yet to be completed and the Collector, Thanjavur Dsitrict, has passed the detention order in Tha.ka.No.14/2024 on 25.07.2024, under the Goondas Act. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant bail.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 2/3
