PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.201 of 2003 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2 herein was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.05.2023 for the alleged offence under Section 302 of IPC in Crime No.201 of 2003 on the file of the respondent police seeks bail.

2. Originally the petitioner was granted bail in Crime No.201 of 2003. The respondent after completion of investigation filed final report and the same was taken on file in S.C. No. 6 of 2006 and pending on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge Kanniyakumari, however the petitioner failed to appear before the trial Court , as such Non Bailable Warrant was issued against him. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.11813 of 2023 Thereafter the case was split up as against the first accused and ended in acquittal. While pending Non Bailable Warrant he involved in a murder case and so many other cases and he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.05.2023 and at this stage if the petitioner is released on bail, he may abscond again and the entire trial will be stalled 3.Taking into consideration all the above facts and also the taking into account the previous bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
