Respondents Prayer:- This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Mandamus directing the respondents to stop all further construction and renovations held at Arulmigu Athanur Peramanar Temple situated at Varahoor Village, Thiruvaiayu Taluk, Thanjavur District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.08.2016 and 08.09.2016, within a period that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to stop all further construction and renovations held at Arulmigu Athanur Peramanar Temple situated at Varahoor https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Village, Thiruvaiayu Taluk, Thanjavur District by considering the petitioner's representations dated 21.08.2016 and 08.09.2016.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pending writ petition, the Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Thanjavur, the second respondent herein, vide order dated 18.08.2016 directed the third respondent not to proceed with the renovation work of the said temple.

3. Since the petitioner's request has already been considered by the second respondent, no further order is required in the writ petition. Therefore, the writ petition is closed. No costs. It is always open to the third respondent to challenge the order of the second respondent, dated 18.08.2016, in the manner known to law, if he feel aggrieved with the above order. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
