Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the Innisai Katcheri and other cultural programme on 04.02.2017 at 09.00 p.m. to 02.00 a.m. in the eve of "Arul Mighu Ramalingasamy Udanurai Sivagamiammal Sri Nambi Singaperumal Thirukovil" "10 days Thiruvizha" at Panakudi, Rathapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.01.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.K.Sudalaiyandi For Respondents : Mr.D.Muruganandam, Additional Government Pleader.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to grant permission for conducting Innisai Katcheri on 04.02.2017, in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 11.01.2017 the petitioner has given a representation, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, the following order can be passed.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Panakudi Police Station is directed to look into the representation dated 11.01.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of three days.
