Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent. 2.By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent to issue separate patta effecting subdivision by survey and fixing the boundaries of the land in survey number 234/1A2 of Parpakulam Village, Palayamkottai Taluk by considering the application of the petitioner under No.2016/0105/29/006850 dated 05.08.2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.According to the petitioner, he and his wife/Amsa purchased 24.53 cents and 24.63 cents in S.No.234/1A2, Parpakulam Village, Palayamkottai from one Lakshmiammal under two separate sale deeds. After the said sale, joint patta No.486 has been issued mentioning the names of the petitioner, his wife and Lakshmiammal as joint owners. Petitioner made an online application on 05.08.2016 for issuance of separate patta after effecting subdivision of their land. The above application is still pending with the respondent. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

In the above circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 05.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
