Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 2.By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3.The present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to dispose the proceedings in Na.Ka.A3/119/2014 based on the report of the 4th respondent for issuance of patta for petitioner's land in Old Survey No.240/1, New Survey No.964/7 to the extent of 28.5 Cents situated at Tisaiyanvillai, Radhapuram Village, Tirunelveli District, within a time frame.
4.According to the petitioner, he filed an application seeking patta in Natham Porampoke land before the 3rd respondent. The 3rd respondent in turn directed the Revenue Inspector to conduct enquiry and the Revenue Inspector also submitted a report on 28.06.2016 before the 3rd respondent. Thereafter no order was passed by the 3rd respondent. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.
5. In the above circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 24.11.2014 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
