Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent. 2.By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent to effect mutation and issue separate patta for property of 4118 sq. ft. comprised in T.S.No.2424 Ward No.II Block No.25 at Kumbakonam in the petitioner name.

4.According to the petitioner, in a partition suit in O.S.No.98 of 2011, a final decree was passed in I.A.No.168 of 2011, allotting 4118 sq. feet with building thereon in T.S.No.2424 in Ward No.II Block No.25 at Kumbakonam as petitioner's share. The Final decree was also duly registered as document No.3450 on the file of District Registrar, Kumbakonam on 04.04.2016. Subsequently, petitioner filed an application on 06.05.2016 before https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent to issue separate patta. The said application is still pending with the respondent. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

In the above circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 06.05.2016 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
