ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for direction to the respondent to file a final report in connection with case in Crime No.26 of 2020 within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.The case of the petitioner is that on 02.02.2020, the accused persons tresspassed into the house of the petitioner/defato complainant and abused the defacto complainant in filthy language and also attacked him. In this regard, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent police and a case has been registered in Crime No.26 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 427 and 506(i) of IPC. Even 18 months have been passed, no progress is made in the investigation and final report has not been filed before the concerned Court. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.

Side) would submit that the investigation has been completed and the final report is made ready and the same is yet to be filed before the concerned Court, after completing the official formalities and he seeks a short time. 4.In view of the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed with a direction to the respondent police to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

Crl.O.P(MD)No.13859 of 2021 file a final report before the concerned Court, after completing the official formalities, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
