O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the respondent to take further legal action in C.S.R.No.335 of 2024.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the some fake IDs' have been issued in the name of the petitioner, who is a political party, for which he lodged a complaint on 21.05.2024. However, the respondent police has not acted upon the petitioner's complaint and the same is kept pending without any progress.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instruction from the respondent police submits that the nature of complaint is that some persons are issuing fake ID in the name of the petitioner. It is 2/4

pertaining to a national political party. The respondent police is conducting an enquiry and they are taking steps to identify whether the petitioner is the member of the political party or the person who issued the fake ID is the member of the political party. 4.Considering the rival submissions made, this Writ Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to conclude the investigation as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 23.07.2024 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No jbr 3/4
