Learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent waived counter in this matter. She also expresses no objection for granting prayer sought for by the petitioner, which is mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 22.10.2018 seeking permission for underground drainage connection to the house bearing Door No.21, Sarvodhaya 3rd Street, Near Ariyanchi Kovil, New Ellis Nagar, Madurai 625 010.

2. In the light of the aforesaid and in the interests of justice, the respondent/Commissioner of Madurai City Municipal Corporation is directed to hear the petitioner upon his representation dated 22.10.2018 and dispose the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
