This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for Adal Padal program perform by "Nagaichuvai Arasu Pondamani" sponsored in "Noothana Astapanthana Kumbabishegam Vizha" scheduled to be held on 29.05.2017 at 7.00 p.m., at Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Thirukovil at Periyapokkampatti, Thangalacheri post, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the
festival of the said temple is scheduled to be held on 29.05.2017. The petitioner and others have decided to organise "Aadal Padal programme" by "Nagaichuvai Arasu Pondamani" sponsored in "Noothana Astapanthana Kumbabishegam Vizha" in connection with "Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Thirukovil at Periyapokkampatti, Thangalacheri post, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District", therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation, dated 28.04.2017, to the second respondent, requesting them to grant permission therefor. Since no order has been passed on the said representation, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition, for the above mentioned relief.
3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 4.The Learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, submitted that the second respondent seeks a weeks time to consider the pending representation made by the petitioner, after taking note of the prevailing situation and pass a suitable and reasonable order.
5.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the second respondent is hereby directed to consider the pending representation of the petitioner on merits and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
