ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Family Court at Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District to expedite the trial in I.D.O.P.No.339 of 2023 pending on his file and to dispose of the same within the time to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner herein filed a case in I.D.O.P.No.339 of 2023 before the Family Court at Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District against the respondent seeking divorce.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the case in I.D.O.P.No.339 of 2023 within a reasonable time frame to be fixed by this Court.

In such view of the matter, this Court is of the considered opinion that without going into the merits of the case, it would be suffice to issue a direction to the Family Court at Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District to dispose of the case in I.D.O.P.No.339 of 2023, after affording an opportunity to the respondent as expeditiously as possible as per seniority of the case.
