Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th and 5th respondents to take effective action to remove the encroachment made in the "Pullaveti Tank" Government water channel running west to east between the S.Nos.272 and 277 situated at Seevalsaragu Village, Athur Taluk, Dindigul District, as per the proceedings of the 4th respondent in his letter No.Thobe/EVAA/KO41/244M/2015, dated 07.09.2015.

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the 4th and 5th respondents to take effective action to remove the encroachment made in the "Pullaveti Tank" Government water channel running west to east between the S.Nos.272 and 277 situated at Seevalsaragu Village, Athur Taluk, Dindigul District, as per the proceedings of the 4th respondent in his letter No.Thobe/EVAA/KO41/244M/2015, dated 07.09.2015. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that during the pendency of this Writ Petition, the alleged encroachment has been completely removed and channel has been restored to use. He has also produced the photographs taken before and after the removal of encroachments.

3.In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. This Writ Petition is, therefore, dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
