Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 2nd respondent corporation, with regard to the Tender Notice dated 22.09.2016 (Advertisement No.DIPR/3920/Tender/2016) for the procurement of Speed Control Device for all models of TATA and Leyland buses and subsequent impugned tender document and process and to quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent Corporation to publish a fresh Tender Notice for the procurement of Speed Control Device for all models of TATA and Leyland buses, following the due procudure of law prescribed in the Tamilnadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998 (Tamilnadu Act 43 of 1998) and the Tamilnadu Transparency in Tenders Rules, 2000, in a fair and transparent manner.
