:Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records on the file of the 1st respondent in connection with the impugned order of transfer passed by him in his proceedings in Proc.No.6520/R4/2016 (E.O.No.245/2016) dated 23.09.2016 and quash the same as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's case for transferring him to the vacant place at the office of Deputy Transport Commissioner or Regional Transport Officer, Tirunelveli within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has given a letter, dated 01.12.2016, to the Registry to withdraw this writ petition, which reads as follows:
"My client/Writ Petitioner has filed the Writ Petition in W.P. (MD) No. 19627/16 for issuance of WRIT OF CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS to call for the records. on the file of the 1st Respondent in connection with the impugned order of transfer passed by him in his Proceedings in Proc.No.6520/R4/2016(E.O.No.245/2016) dated 23.09.2016 and quash the same as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the lst respondent to consider my case for transferring me to the vacant place at the office of Deputy Transport Commissioner or Regional Transport Officer, Tirunelveli within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the said writ petition is pending adjudication. Now the respondents have given consent to pass orders in my favour with an undertaking that the above said writ petition may be withdrawn. Hence, the petitioner is also given his consent to withdraw the above said writ petition.
Therefore, I request your goodself to direct the registry to post the above writ petition before the concerned Portfolio Judge for withdrawal and oblige". He has also made an endorsement to that effect. 2.In view of the letter given and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are dismissed.
