: Respondents (R4 was impleaded vide order of this Court, dated 18.02.2020 in Sub.A.(MD)No.43 of 2020) PRAYER:- Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the contemnors/respondents for their deliberate and wilful disobedience of the order of this Court, dated 26.02.2019 in W.P.(MD)No.21152 of 2015.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a WRIT OF CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS, calling for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the 3rd respondent/Joint Director of Collegiate Education in O.Mu.No.3235/a8/2013, dated 29.10.2013 and the consequential proceeding in A.Thi.Mu.No.1439/22/2014, dated 24.03.2014, QUASH THE SAME and further DIRECT the 3rd respondent to approve forthwith the promotions given to the Lab Assistants as Junior Assistants in the 1/3

petitioner's college viz.

Thiru T.Antony Dhanasekaran and Sr.F.Arockia Mary and disburse the grant-in-aid towards their salaries with effect from the date of their promotions viz., 02.04.2012 with all attendant benefits.

ORDER

When the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the order of this Court in W.P.(MD)No.21152 of 2015, dated 26.02.2019, has been duly complied with by the respondents in letter and spirit. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents produced before this Court the copy of the proceedings of the Directorate of Collegiate Education, dated 04.08.2021.

2.Recording the statement of the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, this Contempt Petition is closed.
