Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's property and fix boundary stones in respect of Survey No.320/13 to an extent of 2.20 Ares situated at Agathariruppu Village, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.04.2023 within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

The petitioner has applied before the respondents to survey his land in Survey No.320/13 to an extent of 2.20 Ares situated at Agathariruppu Village, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District and approached this Court that his application was not considered. 2.Today(04.07.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for admission, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the application was submitted by the petitioner only on 21.06.2023 and it is in progress. The survey would be conducted on seniority basis and the it would be completed within a period of two months.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the application of this petitioner and complete the survey within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and also after ascertaining whether there is any dispute for the subject property and also after giving due notice to the adjacent land owners. No costs. 04.07.2023 NCC : Yes / No.
