Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 2.By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to change the name in the patta for the land at Survey No.187/10 in Nachiyapuram Village, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Kannankottai Panchayat Union, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District in favour of the petitioner by considering petitioner's representation dated 02.04.2009 and 05.10.2016. 4.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in Survey No.187/10 in Nachiyapuram Village, Kannankottai Panchayat Union, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District and he is also paying house tax for the same. On 02.04.2009, he filed an application before the second respondent to change the patta in his name. The said application is still pending with the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

5. In the above circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 02.04.2009 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
