This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondent to survey the land at S.No.320/12 measuring 2.20 ares at Agathariruppu Village, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District. The petitioner had also paid necessary charges on 19.06.2023.

2.Heard Mr.M.Sridharan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Ms.D.Farjana Ghousia, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3.The patta stands in the name the name of the husband of the petitioner, who had since died. The petitioner claims that she is in possession of the property.

4.Let the respondents make necessary enquiry and it would only be appropriate that the petitioner also simultaneously files an application seeking to transfer the patta in her name. At any rate, the respondents 2/4

may proceed to do the necessary needful in accordance with seniority, but ensure that the entire exercise is completed within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The Writ Petition stands disposed of.
