ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. One Nallakumaran passed away on 10.11.2001. The petitioner claims to be his daughter-in-law. She seeks issuance of a legal heir certificate. Since the application was made belatedly, it is the third respondent who is competent to consider the petitioner's request. The petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh application before the third respondent. On receipt thereof, the third respondent will conduct enquiry and dispose of the matter on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks thereafter. I have not gone into the merits of the matter.
