ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the impugned refusal slip dated 06.03.2025 passed by the respondent and consequently direct the respondent to register and release the Rectification Deed dated 06.03.2025 within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. Through the impugned order, the respondent has rejected the request by citing objections raised by a third party. The third party has also filed writ petitions in W.P.(MD) Nos. 118 and 119 of 2025 before this Court. In those writ petitions, the relief sought is merely for surveying and fencing the property, which has no relevance to the registration process. If there is any civil dispute, the appropriate remedy for the third party lies before a competent civil forum. The respondent cannot rely upon such objections to refuse registration. Moreover, the document is only a rectification deed. Therefore, the respondent cannot refuse to register the rectification deed.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. The impugned refusal slip dated 06.03.2025 issued by the respondent is hereby quashed. The respondent is directed to register the rectification deed, dated 06.03.2025 within a 2/4

period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs.
