O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to ensure that the petitioner and devotees of Arulmighu Veeramanayagi Thirukovil, Aadhanur, to conduct the Vaikasi Vishagam festival for the temple commencing from 28.05.2017 till 07.06.2017 without interference of the 6th respondent.

2. Heard, Mr.N.Balakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Government Advocate

appearing for the respondents 1 to 5.

3. Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 5. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.04.2017, is directed to be disposed of, by the fourth respondent on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

6. In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ petition and in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.04.2017 and pass positive orders by granting three days time with police protection and with conditions if any, on merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
