This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to grant emergency leave to the period of 15 days to the petitioner's father namely Kanagarajan, S/o.Baskaran, who is the convict prisoner in a cheating case in CP No.9195 and languishing Central Prison, Madurai for the past 1 1⁄2 years by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2025. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit
that the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.06.2025 has been considered and the same has been rejected by the Superintendent of Prison, Madurai, vide order dated 10.06.2025.
4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
