ORDER
The petitioner was appointed as a Cook through the employment exchange under the category of widow on 16.07.1997 in Adi Dravidar Girls Hostel, Tuticorin; on 08.09.2000, she was transferred to Government Adi Dravidar College Girls Hostel, Tuticorin; she was suffering from severe abdominal pain and on 28.05.2016, she underwent a surgery to remove the uterus; while so, the 2nd respondent has passed the impugned transfer order dated 19.09.2016, transferring the petitioner from Government Adi Dravidar College Girls Hostel, Tuticorin, to the Government Adi Dravidar College Girls Hostel, Parivallikottai; aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has made a representation dated 22.09.2016 requesting the respondents to permit her to work in Government Adi Dravidar College Girls Hostel, Tuticorin, citing her health https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
condition; that representation was not considered and therefore, the petitioner has filed this writ petition to quash the impugned transfer order.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondents may be directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2016 within a time frame, considering the health condition of the petitioner. 3.Mr.M.Alagadevan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that it is agreeable for the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.09.2016 and to pass orders within a time frame.
4.Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 22.09.2016 after considering the averments made therein and to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P(MD)No.14184 of 2016 is closed.
