ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking directions to the first respondent to transfer the investigation of FIR No.76 of 2023 from the file of the respondents 3 and 4 to some other police station.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's brother, namely, Arumugam, who was not available in the place of occurrence and he is working as a teacher in Pudukottai District. But he has given a statement that he was very much available in the occurrence place.

3. A perusal of statements also shows that the petitioner's brother was present in the place of occurrence.

4. In view of the above, Arumugam, who is the brother of the petitioner is directed to appear before the third respondent police on 24.07.2023 and give further statement. Depending upon the outcome of the statement, further action shall be taken by the Investigating Officer. Thereafter, the concerned respondent police to file final report before the concerned Court. The entire 2/4

process shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of appearance of the above said Arumugam.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
