O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 Police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the third respondent was having enmity with one Kalil Mohammed and when the third respondent tried to kill the said Kalil Mohammed with a four wheeler vehicle, the petitioner's uncle who was travelling along with Kalil Mohammed unfortunately got killed. In this regard, the petitioner has filed a complaint before the respondents 1 and 2 Police to take action against the third respondent, on which, the petitioner has received threatening calls from the third respondent and despite the details of mobile number and other particulars given to the respondents 1 and 2 Police, no action is taken against the third respondent.
3. It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the official respondents that on the complaint on 15.06.2023, the second respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.165 of 2023 for the offence punishable under Section 506(i) 2/4
IPC and the investigation is going on.
4. Since a case has already been registered in Crime No.165 of 2023 for the offence punishable under Section 506(i) IPC on the complaint of the petitioner and the investigation is underway, no further order is required to be passed.
