Respondents in both Writ petitions Common Prayer :- Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in his proceedings in Miscellaneous Petition No.3/2009 and 2/2009 respectively dated 10.07.2019 and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents to give reasonable opportunity to pay the arrears of rent. ORDER:- This Petition coming on for hearing on this day under the caption "for reporting compliance" and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.K.Maharajan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mrs.J.Padmavathi Devi, Spl. Government pleader for the 1st respondent, Mr. Lakshmishankar for Mr. T.V.Sivakumar, Advocate for the 2nd respondent, this Court made the following order: These Writ Petitions were listed today under the caption 'for reporting compliance'.

2. This Court, while disposing of the Writ Petitions, by order dated 13.09.2019, directed the petitioners to remit the arrears on three monthly installments as demanded by the respondents. In compliance with the directions, the first installment of Rs.50,000/- [Rupees Fifty Thousand only] was paid by the petitioners on 29.10.2019.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners will make the second installment on or before 30.11.2019 and the third installment on or before 31.12.2019. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent would submit that the first installment has been acknowledged by Miscellaneous Receipts issued in Nos.3148 and 3149, respectively, dated 29.10.2019 and the respondents are willing to receive the rent lease as per the installments requested by the petitioners.

5. Accordingly, the petitioners are directed to remit the second installment on or before 30.11.2019 and the third installment on or before 31.12.2019. On such payment, the respondents shall restore the tenancy to the petitioners.
