This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to survey the land and fix the boundaries for the property comprised in in Survey No.160/1V2 in Karumathur Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his application seeking for survey of the property comprised in Survey No.160/1V2 in Karumathur Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District has not been considered by the second respondent till date and therefore, has filed the present writ petition.

4. In view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner seeking survey of the land and pass suitable orders on the same on merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Such an exercise shall be made, after giving notice to the petitioner and any other persons, who may be interested in the subject property.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
