The present writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to conduct detailed enquiry in accordance with Circular No.67 issued by the first respondent and pass necessary orders on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2016.
2. Heard Mr.B.Jameel Arasu, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Alaga Thevan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the lands measuring 1 Hectare 26 ares in old Survey No.309/1 and the new Survey No.309/4B in Thulukkanthopu, Mullur Village in Pudukottai District. As on date, the Patta stands in the name of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the petitioner. However, by committing forgery, the lands were dealt with under Documents Nos.4146/2007, 4147/2007, 4148/2007 and 4149/2007 in the office of the Joint sub Registrar, Pudukottai.
4. The petitioner would claim that those documents were registered, despite objections by the petitioner dated 26.09.2007. Hence, the petitioner made a detailed representation to the respondents dated 04.08.2016 to conduct an enquiry as per the Circular No.67. Since no action was taken, the present writ petition has been filed.
5. In view of the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, the facts of this case and the submissions made by the learned Counsels, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.8.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits in accordance with law after providing an opportunity to the necessary parties as expeditiously as possible preferable within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
