Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct the Orchestra Program scheduled to be held on 26.01.2017 at 07.00 p.m. on the eve Republic Day and Centenary Birth Celebration of Annai Indira Gandhi at Thiruvalluvar Stadium, Valliyoor, Tirunelveli District.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Orchestra Program on 26.01.2017 in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 04.01.2017 the petitioner has given a representation to the respondents, but the same has not been considered and therefore the following order can be passed.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Valliyoor Police Station is directed to look into the representation dated 04.01.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of three days.
