Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the fourth respondent to restore the water tap connections in Nos.153, 431 and 587 of Odaipatti Town Panchayat to petitioners' houses i.e. within their premises as given to other residents which were illegally disconnected by fourth respondent on 07.05.2022 and consequently, direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action against the fourth respondent based on petitioners' representation, dated 18.06.2022.

ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. The petitioner seeks provision of water tap connection for their house. There is some dispute as regards the manner in which the facility has been provided. There is merit in the contention of the petitioners' counsel that the petitioners cannot be discriminated. I, therefore, direct the fourth respondent top provide water tap connection in the same manner as given for the other residents of the locality.
3. This writ petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
