This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking quashment of the FIR in Crime No.21 of 2023 on the file of the second respondent Police which is registered for the offence under Sections 147, 341, 294(b), 323 and 506(1) of IPC.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents Police submits that the respondents Police have completed the investigation and filed a charge sheet on 27.03.2023. The same was taken on file in C.C.No.135 of 2023.
3. Since the very purpose for filing the present petition has been fulfilled on account of filing of the charge sheet, this Criminal Original Petition has become infructuous. However, the petitioners are given liberty to challenge the charge sheet in case if they are so advised. 2/4
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
