ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry, on the basis of the representation dated 13.09.2021. 2.After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Sub Inspector of Police, Sayalkudi Police Station, who was present from the office of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), it is seen that one Muthukumar, who is the husband of the defacto complainant, namely, Parameshwari, is missing, as per the information furnished by the Sub Inspector of Police, Sayalkudi Police Station. It is further seen that Muthukumar, Muniyasamy and this petitioner went to Andhra Pradesh for work. Some trouble appears to have arisen there and Muthukumar was sent to Tamil Nadu through a lorry by this petitioner. Now, the whereabouts of Muthukumar is not known. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13815 of 2021 3.According to the Investigation Officer, the petitioner has to be enquired with regard to the aforesaid occurrence. For that purpose, he has to appear before the Investigation Officer. 4.Since it is a man missing issue, the petitioner must appear before the Investigation Officer and cooperate with him for completing the investigation. So, the question of harassment at the hands of the 2nd respondent may not arise. I find no merit in this petition. The petitioner is directed to appear before the 2nd respondent herein as directed above. If any trouble arises in future, the petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

5.With the aforesaid direction and liberty, this petition is disposed of.
