Heard both sides.
2.The petitioner wants this Court to direct the second respondent to grant permission to dig out vandal sand from Vallamar Yeri, Kurungulam Budalur, Thanjavur by considering her application. 3.The second respondent is directed to consider the petition mentioned application and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent will put all the interested parties on notice before passing final order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the second respondent to pass order one way or the other.

4. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
