ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 409 of I.P.C in Crime No.179 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2..The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is a Village Pannadi (Nattamai) has collected donation from the villagers and general public for performing Kumbabisekam and Annathanam and Kumbabisekam was performed on 27.04.2018. After completing the Kumbabisekam, when the de-facto complainant seeks production of accounts, but the petitioner did not produce the account. Therefore, on 02.08.2018, when the petitioner scolded the de-facto complainant with filthy language. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a Village Nattamai to collect amount from the general public and performed Kumbabisekam on 27.04.2018. He also produce the statement of accounts before this Court, the expenditure occurred by him from the amounts collected by the general public. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation is pending.

5.Taking note of the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Ottanchathiram and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously. 6.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
