O R D E R

The plaintiff in O.S.No.276 of 2019 on the file of the Principal District Judge, Dindigul has filed this revision petition seeking expeditious disposal of the suit.

2. If the suit is five years old, I will unhesitatingly issue direction for expeditious disposal. The Hon'ble Supreme Court in many cases have held that the suit should not be kept pending for more than five years. But the case on hand is of a different complexion. The parties herein have been locked in litigation. Litigation between them has gone right upto the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in more than once. It is also seen that the Hon'ble Division Bench vide order dated 22.11.2023 in W.A.(MD)No.1500 of 2023 has given a direction for expeditious disposal. The very same direction has also been reiterated vide order dated 12.06.2024 in C.M.A.(MD)No.550 of 2024. When such directions for expeditious disposal have already been given, I do not find need to issue one more direction in this petition. The Civil Revision Petition is accordingly disposed of.
