The writ petition has been filed to forbear the respondents from interfering into the stamp vending business of the petitioner in the Kumbakonam Taluk Office campus till 31.12.2017. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a stamp vendor in the office of the 3rd respondent, that the 3rd respondent has allotted a space within the premises for the petitioner to pursue his avocation as stamp vendor, that he had paid rent for the period upto 31.12.2017, and that the 2nd https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent has directed the petitioner to vacate the premises by 19.05.2017. It is further submitted that the petitioner has given a representation to the first respondent to consider his request, to stay in the premises for pursuing his avocation as a stamp vendor at least till 31.12.2017.

3.Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this petition is allowed and the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.05.2017, after giving him proper and effective hearing and decide the matter purely on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order copy. Till the order as contemplated herein is passed, there shall be an order of status quo, authorizing the petitioner to stay of the premises. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
