and 13th wage settlements respectively in the new pay band with interest at the rate of 12% per annum payable from the date of retirement of the petitioner to till the date of payment for the said monetary benefits as per the 12th and 13th wage settlements on 13.04.2015 & 04.01.2018 after retirement 01.09.2013 and 01.09.2016 respectively, agreeing for implementing the benefits of 12th & 13th Wage Settlements to the employees like Driver, Conductor, Maintenance, Administrative & Miscellaneous groups etc., of all State Transport Undertakings of the Government of Tamil Nadu, settled to the petitioner within a stipulated time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner a retired employee of the respondent transport corporation has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus to settle the pension arrears as per 12th and 13th wage settlement.
2.When this writ petition was taken up for hearing on 27.01.2025 there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, this writ petition was directed to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal' today. Accordingly this writ petition is listed 2/5
under the caption 'for dismissal' today, despite the same, there is no representation for the petitioner.
3.The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent submits that the petitioner had retired from service on 31.05.2012. The petitioner has made a claim based on the 12th and 13th wage settlement and it has been implemented only after the retirement of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner is not entitled for the same.
4.Since there is no representation for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed for default. No costs.
