ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed to relax the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.18988 of 2025 dated 24.11.2025.

2.Today (23.06.2026), when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been complying with the condition without fail. However, the concerned police officials refused to obtain the petitioner's signature and did not permit him to sign in the register. In this regard, an affidavit has been filed. The learned counsel further submitted that, with a view to file a petition for cancellation of bail, the respondent police deliberately restrained the petitioner from complying with the condition imposed by this Court and thereafter filed a petition seeking cancellation of bail.

3.This Court considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record and the affidavit filed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.Today, Mr.C.Antokivin, Sub-Inspector of Police, appeared before this Court and denied the allegations levelled against the respondent police. In view of the allegations made against the police officials, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate Court once in a week, i.e., on every Monday at 10.30 a.m., for a 2/4

period of four weeks.
