Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to delete all the illegal entries in revenue records and cancelled all the forged documents in survey No.791/A3, 792/A1, 792/B5 based on my representation dated 10.06.2025.

ORDER

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to delete all the illegal entries in revenue records and cancel all the forged documents in survey No.791/A3, 792/A1, 792/B5 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.A.Baskaran learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.S.Shaji Bino, learned Special Government Pleader for the 4th respondent.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

A perusal of the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition would indicate the property situated in survey No.791/A3, 792/A1, 792/B5 in Manmangalam Village, Atthur Taluk, Karur District is ancestral property of the petitioner. It is stated by the petitioner that taking advantage of his illiteracy and innocence some forged documents have been created in respect of the subject property and utilizing the same, the revenue documents were changed.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that documents no.1195/2008, 7413/2010, 10766/2010 and 6483/2012 on the file of the 4th respondent Sub Registrar Office are forged invalid documents and with the help of those documents revenue records have been mutated. Therefore, the petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to cancel the registered documents and consequential revenue entries. 3/6

6. If the petitioner wants cancellation of registered documents, it is for him to approach the competent Civil Court seeking necessary declaration. The respondents are not having any powers to cancel the registered documents. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to issue any directions to the respondents.

7. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent Civil Court. civil court. No costs. 23.06.2025 NCC :yes/No Index :yes/No Internet:yes/No rgm 4/6
