[Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the 'Jallikattu' on 29.05.2017 during the Vaikasi Thiruvizha of Arulmigu Sree Kamatchiamman Karuppasamy Thirukoil situated at M.Keelapatti Village, Mudhalaikulam Post, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District on the basis of the Petitioner's representation.
2. Mr.T.R.Janarthanam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3.Though the petitioner has sought for the relief as above, the learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that it would suffice, if the representation dated 15.05.2017 is considered by the respondents as per law.
4. Accordingly, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner 15.05.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
